Tessa, when you were at McKinsey, were data scientists treated like second class citizens i.e. didn’t have as much room for advancement as a traditional management consultant?

McKinsey is a great firm, but, like any consultancy, the ability to win new business and manage relationships is ultimately the name of the game, and I’m not sure if those align with a data scientist’s aspirations or interests.
