Fantastic article, and I can relate in so many ways.

I worked with a team that used Matlab to produce research reports, and clients who subscribed to those would constantly ask us for the code to reproduce or create an exhibit tailored to their needs. Our clients were invariably dismayed when they found out the code was in written in Matlab.

I re-wrote the code in Python, which made knowledge sharing a whole lot easier. All hail Python!
